A harbourmaster may arrest a vessel at the relevant port if such vessel is alleged to have been involved in criminal or civil case. Our lawyers, in numerous occasions, have succeeded to release and repossess vessels. These release and repossession include foreign owned cargo vessels up to sophisticated super yacht from the Indonesian ports. We appear before the courts of most major ports of Indonesia, as well as in litigation and arbitration proceedings. Our clients include domestic and foreign cargo interests, vessel owners and operators, charterers, insurers and reinsurers, shipyards, importers and exporters.
Purchasing a vessel is special and involves substantial investment as well as complex legal issues. For this, we represent both sellers and buyers in the sale and purchase of a wide spectrum of vessels, ranging from large and small ships to cruise vessels.
